The Professional Submission League (PSL) successfully debuted L.A. SUB X,
its inaugural submission wrestling event. L.A. SUB X showcased the greatest submission artists of our time in an All Star line up of single main event
matches with over 75 world titles represented. The show brought hardcore grappling action to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium Friday, May 26, 2006.
Submission Wrestling is one of the fastest growing international sports. The PSL features thrilling throws, trips, takedowns, reversals, sweeps, escapes
and SUBMISSIONS (including joint locks & chokes). No striking is allowed in order to showcase the grappling skills of the athletes. The sport of
Submission Wrestling is one of the oldest sports in the world, and indigenous forms of wrestling can be found in every country and in every culture since
the dawn of man. In fact, Wrestling was the first Olympic sport. The PSL is part of this ancient tradition. PSL athletes are drawn from the grappling
sports of Judo, Brazilian Jujitsu, Sombo, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts Fighting. Invited athletes include only
recognized champions in their sport.
